VOLUNTEER

There are several ongoing projects to reorganize the learning commons' book collection and make it easier for students to find books they will love. If you have an hour or two to spare, we would be so grateful for your help!

DONATE

We are happy to accept donated books. We are specifically seeking contemporary, middle-school level fiction. Any books that we don't need for the collection we will add to our annual book swap.

SUPPORT THE LEARNING COMMONS!

MISSION

Our mission is to foster literacy and critical thinking skills, to support the curriculum, and to provide services and access to resources beyond the school walls. It is the goal of the learning common's staff to provide guidance and instruction in the accession, location, and utilization of information and to instill a love of reading in our students.

  • Students may visit the Learning Commons at any time with a pass from their classroom teacher

  • Students may borrow up to 3 library books at a time

  • Learning Commons is open for 30 minutes before and after school most days (Ms. Rooks is generally here on Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday)
